Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd. is one of Europe’s leading tourist travel corporations, and generated total turnover of CHF 4 699 million in 2007 with a worldwide workforce of 8826 (full-time-equivalent) personnel. The company’s activities are focused on its core Leisure Travel and Destination Management businesses.

Head Office is in Zurich, Switzerland, where Alfred Kuoni founded the company back in 1906. The Kuoni Group has steadily and systematically developed its position in the world travel market over the years, and has branch operations today in over 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

Kuoni aims to be the world’s best and most successful tourist travel company in the premium and specialist segment. The Kuoni Group was named “World’s Leading Tour Operator” in 2007, the ninth time it has earned this distinction.

KUONI DESTINATION MANAGEMENT

Kuoni Destination Management is a Strategic Business Division (SBD) of Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd., one of Europe’s leading travel corporations, which is active in the Leisure Travel and Destination Management segments.

In 2007, Kuoni Destination Management contributed 21% to the Group turnover. Its services are focused on organising and advising on land arrangements for groups, individual travellers (Kuoni Connect), meetings, incentives, congresses, special interest tours, and sports events. The services are offered to international tour operators, wholesalers, meeting planners, incentive houses and congress organisers.
