Kuoni Connect, the unit of Kuoni Destination Management specialising in online distribution, reports significant growth for the destinations USA and Asia.
Kuoni Connect is a leading online provider of global hotel and destination services in the B2B segment. Its clients benefit from a fast growing global inventory of hotels and destination services with the possibility to book all products online with immediate confirmations.
2010 was a year of outstanding development for Kuoni Connect. Globally, the number of hotels increased by a total of 15% to which the successful launch of destination Australia in August contributed substantially. The continuous improvement of the worldwide product portfolio resulted in doubled bookings to destinations USA and Asia.
In terms of source markets, the sales volumes from Asia and Latin America experienced the highest increase in reservations compared to the previous year. The European market, however, stands out as best in producing overall.
